The following investigation is based on clinical cases analysis, clinical experience and qualitative research in successful psychotherapy processes. The psychological distress reconstruction format is presented (RMPS). This format is useful to orientate the therapist to elucidate the coherence of a dysfunctional meaning and design a systematic intervention strategy.
