Abstract

The analogical resources of verbal and nonverbal nature are powerful instruments for facilitating the emotional work in psychotherapy. They are useful for the elaboration of traumatic experiences, and help in closing them. They are very suitable mediators for the exploration of the emotional world, thanks to its picturesque and versatile nature.
