A therapeutic process of bereavement and affective breaking off is analyzed. The understanding and intervention context was organized using a post-rationalist cognitive model. The articulating axis of the therapeutic process was the generation of an interpersonal context which allows the patient to have a gradual experiential exploration through the auto-observation method ( analysis of sequential scenes) with the objective of obtaining information about his experience that could be narratively coded on a continuous and coherent sense of identity as a function of the psychological well-being.
