Abstract

The Mindfulness Training Program Based on Brief Integrated Practices (M-BIP) is a proposal that was created with the goal of making it as accessible as possible to practice mindfulness both for the general population and for people who may be in psychological treatment without a serious or acute phase disorder. We designed a protocol that preserves the eight week structure of mindfulness and compassion training programs that have proven effective and have been validated. In this program normal practices times have been reduced and to practice “where possible” has been promoted, while the effectiveness of the program changes was validated. To facilitate the learning process, we have designed an App (Mindfulness Focus Now) including formal training practices. The program also has resources on the web www.mindfulnessypsicologiabcn.com  and incorporated several Apps that facilitate accessibility, measurability and guide various types of practices, including a measure of heart rate variability, HRV.
