Abstract

This paper describes a training experience in Group Psychotherapy, taught at the Applied Psychology Service (SPA) of the National University of Distance Education (UNED). This model is offered in order that it can be useful as a training reference for other training groups and / or in other modalities and economic / social circumstances. The training began in March 2021 and was completely online given that the restrictions on teaching capacities, due to the health measures at that time, made it difficult for it to be in person. In addition, one of the most important objectives was to be able to offer group psychotherapeutic support immediately in order to meet the needs of the users of the UNED SPA, who were both in different cities of Spain and abroad. The work carried out, both in training and in therapy, clearly shows the effectiveness of the training model that has been described in this work, as well as its ability to respond practically immediately to a demanded, effective and necessary psychotherapeutic modality
