Abstract

The state of mind is a daily affective state, made up of long-lasting and apparently unspecific feelings. The purpose of this article is to review the studies focused on their main polarities: positivity / negativity, high energy / low energy, tension / calm and also their degree of inhibition / expression. Finally we establish some relationships with depressive disorder.
