Working with people addicted to cybersex: a client-centered approach.

The Internet has changed the way our culture thinks about sexuality – both positively and negatively. Some incorporate the Internet as part of their healthy sexual repertoire, while others engage in online sexual behaviors that become out of control. In order to conduct a comprehensive assessment and develop an effective treatment plan, clinicians must familiarize themselves with the various methods venues for engaging in online sexual behavior. This article offers information on appropriate assessment and treatment for individuals struggling with problematic online behavior.
