“Historias con niños y niños con historias”: una propuesta narrativa con niños institucionalizados.

La concepción del niño como constructor activo de su identidad nos ha llevado en psicoterapia infantil a legitimar y prestar mayor atención a la experiencia vivida y expresada por el propio sujeto en sus propios términos. De esto se deriva el énfasis en los procesos narrativos de reconstrucción de la propia experiencia y el consecuente uso de técnicas constructivas y narrativas para su estudio. En este artículo revisaremos distintos enfoques que han prestado especial interés en el uso de historias en terapia con niños, y presentaremos un caso en el que las historias de una niña institucionalizada en un centro de acogida, nos ayudaron a comprender mejor su experiencia y abrir una puerta al cambio y a nuevos horizontes relacionales.
