Abstract

This article analyses both the forms of inappropriate love in childhood and child sexual abuse. Their destructive effects on moral development and adult self-esteem are specially considered. It also shows the tendency to reproduce submission and bad treatment in the interpersonal couple relationships. The psychotherapeutic intervention attempts to strengthen one’s own consciousness of dignity and to favor the development of psychological autonomy.
