Instrumentos de evaluación del bienestar adolescente: una revisión sistemática

Resumen

La adolescencia es una etapa crítica en el desarrollo humano por sus inherentes y constantes cambios de tipo emocional y cognitivo. Se ha visto que los adolescentes que experimentan bienestar sienten mayor satisfacción con la vida y menor probabilidad de desarrollar problemas de conducta, lo que subraya la necesidad de utilizar instrumentos de evaluación que detecten necesidades de apoyo. Se establece el objetivo de revisar la literatura de investigación sobre escalas que evalúan el bienestar psicológico, social y psicosocial en adolescentes, y se realiza una búsqueda en diferentes bases de datos donde se seleccionan 13 estudios. La mayoría de ellos incluyen instrumentos de evaluación de bienestar psicológico, destacando la adaptación de las Escalas de Bienestar Psicológico de Ryff (PWBS) en muestras de distintos contextos socioculturales. También se proporciona información detallada sobre los participantes y los instrumentos utilizados. Se concluye que el uso de escalas del bienestar en población adolescente resulta crucial para desarrollar programas de intervención eficaces que promuevan la salud y el bienestar en esta población.
