This article describes the history of the University Psychology Clinic of Complutense University of Madrid and its functioning as a center for training, research and psychological care in the area of clinical and health psychology. The article also details Clinic's human resources and principal lines of work, as well as data on service demand, number of treated cases, kind of problems dealt with, and quality of the psychological care services. Finally, some reflections are offered concerning the role of the university centers of psychological care may play in undergraduate and postgraduate education in Psychology in Spain.
