In the present study we report empirical evidence concerning validation of the Spanish Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Revised-Abbreviated (EPQR-A). A sample of 199 university students (ranging in age from 18 to 39 years) completed the Spanish versions of the EPQR-A, the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), the Anxiety Sensitivity Index (ASI) and the Penn State Worry Questionnaire (PSWQ). Using factor analysis, the authors replicated the structure of the EPQR-A previously reported by Sandín et al. [Sandín, B., Valiente, R.M., Chorot, P., Olmedo, M., y Santed, M.A. (2002). Versión española del cuestionario EPQR-Abreviado (EPQR-A) (I): Análisis exploratorio de la estructura factorial. Revista de Psicopatología y Psicología Clínica, 7, ] providing evidence for the unidimensionality of the four EPQR-A subscales (extraversion, neuroticism, psychoticism and the lie scale). Results provide also empirical support for reliability and validity of the Spanish EPQR-A.Downloads
