Tras realizar un breve ensayo historiográfico sobre el lienzo de Ticiano, el presente trabajo analiza su iconografía, reivindicando la interpretación propuesta por Fritz Saxl y Erwin Panofsky.
After a brief historiographic essay dealing with Titian's painting, this paper analyses its iconography and vindicates the interpretation proposed by Fritz Saxl and Erwin Panofsky Panofsky.
