Abstract

De la iglesia parroquial de Noves el Catálogo Monumental de la provincia de Toledo destaca en lo arquitectónico la capilla mayor y crucero del templo, obra que califica de arte ojival del siglo xv, sin que las fuentes documentales que manejara su autor (hoy en parte perdidas) revelaran que el resto de la iglesia, levantada como dice entre 1630 y 1664, se debiera al arquitecto Fray Lorenzo de San Nicolás.
