El kero : vaso ritual de los incas

Cuando en los museos de todo el mundo encontramos colecciones de arqueología americana, es bastante habitual que nos llame la atención, la presencia de un tipo de recipiente de madera, de forma troncocónica y decoración en laca que relata de manera ingenua acontecimientos de distinta índole; nos referimos a los llamados «Keros« de la cultura Inca. Nuestros trabajos en los fondos del Museo de América de Madrid, del Museo del Hombre en París y del Museo Arqueológico de Lima, nos dieron la oportunidad de conocer estos recipientes mucho más de cerca, y a partir de este momento plantearnos una serie de interrogantes respecto a ellos.Downloads
