The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of e-learning offered by Universidad Politécnica de Puebla by applying the ELQ Model (E-Learning Quality). The preliminary results show that the ELQ model scored a 100% in the areas of communication, collaboration and interactivity. On the other hand, for material and content items, the virtual environment, student assessment, flexibility, technical and holistic support, the percentages of achievement were equal to, or greater than 60%. For the other areas such as experience, vision, institutional leadership and resource allocation, the percentage of achievement was less than, or equal to 50%. It is believed that designing, implementing and evaluating an institutional vision based on organizational leadership, holistic training and continuous improvement will significantly contribute to achieving the desired quality in this educational modality.
