From the origin of the times, the human being has questioned the meaning of life. Great thinkers and philosophers have raised in countless occasions what is the sense of life. The Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy, through its theoretical and meta-theoretical approaches, with the wisdom of Existential Psychology, picks up the theme and raises it as something concrete to work in the therapy room. This article is based on the workshop realized at the First International Congress of Psychology and Humanistic Psychotherapies that was held in November 2015 in Barcelona. Like the workshop, the article is divided into two parts. A first one in which there is a theoretical revision of the existential question, based mainly on the theme of Irvin Yalom (death, freedom, isolation and the meaning of life). In the second part, it arises a possible intervention to work in psychotherapy the meaning of life, with the final reflection on the generic aspects to take into account at the moment of focusing this topic in therapy.Downloads
