Abstract

Social Skills Training is one of the few psychosocial interventions of proven effectiveness with schizophrenic patients. The present article discusses theoretical and practical aspects of this technique within the framework of Family Educational Therapy, and make references to work being done in this area at the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona.
