Abstract

In this article we will see the relationship between three theoretical approaches in evolutionary psychology: the psychoanalytic theory of the ego. The theory of object relations, and the theory of cognitive development. It is assumed that all three postulate objectives with similar processes. Together they offer the framework for the development of psychotherapy counseling. Some specific points are illustrated with clinical cases.
