In the last years, Mindfulness is entering psychotherapy more and more. One of the pioneers treatment program in the incorporation of mindfulness is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) developed for the treatment of a complex and difficult condition, borderline personality disorder. DBT is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach that incorporates innovative therapeutic elements in order to treat the dysfunctional pattern of behaviour of borderline personality. One of these components is mindfulness. The aim of this work is to describe mindfulness skills in DBT. First we will describe briefly DBT and how mindfulness skills suit in the program.
