Abstract

This article focuses on the new perspectives and therapeutic practices proposed by some authors that from a postmodernist point of view criticize values and assumptions of traditional psychology and the way in which they affect psychological diagnosis, evaluation and treatment. With this purpose the main aspects of the social constructionist theory regarding therapeutic practice are considered.
