Abstract

Taking as a point of departure Moreno’s deliberations on intuition, deliberations that pioneered the way to classical psychodrama, this article reviews the present-day state of analytical psychodrama’s theoretical basis. The conceptual and methological problems that morenian techniques pose within the analytical context are considered, placing special emphasis on the neutrality of the therapist, the role of interpretation, and the presence of tranference elements in the dramatic enactments.
