Abstract

Through the case history and the therapy of an index patient, the autors propose an hypothesis of the “phobic game”, hypotesis which underlines the relational mechanisms maintained by the “game”. The intervention, centered on a new linguistic definition of the phobic experience, suggests the possibility of a therapeutic way out.
