In this paper Social Network Interventions is outlined. The point of departure is the concept of Social Support and its relationship with mental health; the studies of both topics constitute the empirical foundation of Network Interventions. The concept of network and its characteristics is analized and, finally, both different types of network interventions and different taxonomies of classification of these interventions, are studied.
