This article describes the treatment of a case of hypoactive sexual desire disorder within the framework of the theory of moral development. This symptom is viewed as a mechanism of compensation of too much compliant socionomic moral regulation. Encouraging assertiveness, self-esteem and autonomy, allows the disappearance of the symptom and the restoration of sexual desire in a spontaneous and rewarding way.
