Abstract

This work is the transcript of an interview conducted by Meritxell Pacheco, coordinator of the working group of the Col·legi Oficial de Psicòlegs de Catalunya, COPC: La Narrativa en Educació i en Psicoteràpia, to Carlos Chimpén, president of AETEN, Asociación Española de Terapia Narrativa. The interview takes place in the context of the Matí Narratiu conference, held at COPC headquarter, and allows us to reflect on narrative therapy at the present time, understanding its origins, and anticipating possible future developments. It is also talked about the possibilities of training for new therapists and how it is necessary that as someone gains experience, maps of Michael White's narrative practice are deconstructed and the adventure spirit of narrative therapy could be restored.
