Abstract

Evolutionary case formulation: A common language in psychotherapy is the most recent contribution to case formulation in psychotherapy in Spanish. It is a parsimonious model to understand clients' difficulties and to guide treatment, which revolves around the identification of a dysfunctional intersubjective theme that involves the self, and which is projected onto seven second-order domains. It provides schemes for valuation, intervention and for the evaluation of the therapy process, all from an evolutionary constructivist perspective
