Political parties are suffering one of the worst crises in decades. Distrust of them is due to the economic crisis but also to the fact that citizens understand that they are not functioning properly, and are also preventing the occurrence of other democratic actors in the political arena. This article discusses the need to rethink the legal treatment of the parties, make it more interventionist, strengthening control over their activities and opening political space to other democratic actors.Downloads
