Resumen

En las páginas siguientes expondremos la cara «positiva» que presentó, en general, el Derecho electoral español durante el siglo XIX y primeros años del XX y que se caracterizó por una notable modernidad. También estudiaremos qué tipo de sistema electoral se implantó en esta parte de la normativa electoral española que había nacido en 1810.

In the following pages we will show the «positive» side that, usually, the Spanish Electoral Law presented, during the 19th and early 20th centuries, characterized by a remarkable modernity. We will also analyse which type of electoral system predominated on the Electoral History born in Spain, on the year of 1810.
