Abstract

In the present work, we propose the use of mod-ern stylometric techniques for the study and clas-sification of dialects in Spanish, by carrying out a stylometric analysis using the COSER corpus. We use Stylo on a sample of the transcribed inter-views to extract reliable classification parame-ters. In the end, the outcomes have been applied to the entire corpus, achieving a non-random classification that is explainable considering some prestigious dialectal works.
