The intention to determine the patterns and places where show their works to the public was spread by the artists of the different avant-garde artistic mouvements, from the beggining of our century. By this way, they ensure the transmisión of an ideological and artistic concepts. The exhibition practice will be, together with the literary texts —Manifestó—, the main vehicle for modern artists to communicate their aesthetic programs. These mouvements involved a radical aesthetic breaking in relation to the traditional art, and, at the same time, they developped revolutionary museographic experiences, whose consequences have reached the present days.
