This paper proposes a reconsideration of the criticism directed from an epistemological perspective at Kant's transcendental philosophy that found evidence of the obsolete nature of his theory in the development of geometry and physics after the philosopher's death. With the intention of offering a possible way to justify the Kantian position, the paper addresses the relationship between Kant's philosophical doctrine of space and its scientific thematization in geometry and mathematical natural science following the phenomenological interpretation by the philosopher and mathematician Oskar Becker and his notion of a «space of intuition».
