Abstract

This article underlines the benefits and therapeutic uses of music, especially in the treatment of chronic pain. Consequently with these purposes different dimensions as sensorial, affective and cognitive aspects of music are considered. In this way music therapy becomes a natural mean for pains relief and palliative care that can be integrated with other medical or not medical treatments.
