Abstract

The phenomenological view of psychosis and its cultural implications are presented. Likewise, adaptations in mindfulness practice to make it safe and therapeutic for psychotic patients are elaborated. Finally, data on the viability and efficacy of this approach from a pilot study in a public psycho-social recovery center are presented.
