Abstract

Jealousy, sexual satisfaction and couple relationship quality are interrelated aspects, and knowing such interrelationship will help to provide a more adequate attention in the clinical practice and programmes regarding sexual health. The aim of this study was to carry out a systematic review on the relationship between these variables: jealousy, sexual satisfaction and couple relationship quality. After a literature search in the main databases, and once a selection process was conducted, 18 articles were selected. Text mining was used to perform the review, through the IRaMuTeQ 0.7 alpha v2 software. The results show that there are few studies on the study variables separately, and almost none regarding the relationship between them. Further research is needed in this area to clarify the analysed concepts and to contribute to improving the clinical treatment and programmes of sexual education.
