Abstract

Our report revolves around the questioning of knowledge production practises of suicide, which are inscribed primarily inside the positivist camp of knowledge of Psychiatry and Sociology from a Psycosocial point of view. We try to problematize the conventional notion of suicide, introducing subjectivity as an analytical and political category and focussing on the subjectivation processes, from a foucaultian perspective.
