El presente artículo expone un caso masculino de dependencia emocional cuya peculiaridad es que este patrón relacional constituye y se plantea en sí mismo como demanda propia y explícita. Ha sido abordado desde una perspectiva fenomenológico-existencial, concretamente en base al Modelo del Desarrollo Moral, planteando el proceso terapéutico como un acompañamiento hacia la libertad y la autonomía del paciente.
