This paper describes the experience of therapeutic writing strategy during a psychological intervention in a case study research implemented from the perspective of Narrative Therapy in order to improve the person´s mood. Narrative analysis was implemented, a qualitative methodology focused in the study of the meaning and the personal experience, as a way to explore the thoughts and the story´s power to define the identity (Lieblich, Tuval-Maxhiaxh & Ziber, 1998), from the position of the narrator (Atkinson, 1997; Bochner, 2001; Smith & Sparkes, 2006). Results suggest that the use of therapeutic writing strategy contributes to think about the personal identity, the relations with others, the personal ability, interest and priority, as well as the personal meaning experiences in life.
