This paper analyzes the impact of methodological changes and the evaluation system, introduced in the academic year 2023/2024 in the subject of Business Statistics II of the Degree in Business Administration and Management at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. The main innovation consisted of increasing the use of digital technologies in the practical sessions, with the aim of increasing student motivation and updating the techniques for solving practical cases. To evaluate the effectiveness of these changes, the ratios “Presented/Matriculated”, “Passed/Presented” and “Passed/Matriculated” were analyzed for the last four academic years. The comparison shows a significant improvement in all ratios, which confirms a positive evaluation of the modifications, evidencing an increase in participation and academic success in the 2023/2024 academic year. This suggests that the incorporation of technologies has favored greater involvement and better student performance, highlighting the effectiveness of the new methodological approaches.
