Abstract

Without making a judgment, Krishnamurti shows how desire is the engine of life that can not be repressed. Living without desires is to have no life, to lack sensitivity and beauty. When desire is understood in this way, it then becomes a passion to live and a source of energy. Moreover, desire that is understood and turned into passion leads to the love that is the fullness of life. A specific section on sexual desire ends this reflection.
