This research paper aims to achieve an articulation and thematization
of two eminent Phenomena and/or Existentialia in Heidegger’s Book Being and Time
(§§ 45-53): Being-Toward-Death and Being-a-Whole, both of which relate to Dasein,
in order to show that the phenomenon called Dasein’s Selfhood is a necessary and sufficient
condition to achieve a full phenomenological apprehension of these Existentalia.
