Abstract

Complexity has a number of ways for its description and measurement, the fractal dimension being one of them. This work proposes the Diamond Theory of the Mathematician Rudolf Kaehr to describe the aesthetic experience from a polycontextural logic, that is, non-linear, over time. Likewise, it uses the fractal behavior of the Diamond to observe how it links the organization of said experience. With this, we will be able to undertake an analysis of the aspects that articulate aesthetic effectiveness using a tool that allows us to coherently address the factors that intervene in our encounters with art.
