The article follows the receptions of the work of Joan Salvat-Papassit between 1926, a few months after the publications of the collections of posthumous poems Ossa menor, and 1932, when the book of Guillem Díaz-Plaja was published L’avantguardisme a Catalunya i altres notes de crítica, one of the first studies on this literary and cultural phenomenon, in which the figure of Salvat reaches a prominent relief. The commentary on the texts that appeared in the daily press, magazines and books allows us to observe how, over these years, they end up fixing a series of biographical and cultural clichés about the poet while his poems will be the subject of an unequal assessment.
