No presente traballo preténdese analizar cales foron as circunstancias que rodearon a aparición do mencionado volume.
In 1947, "Cómaros verdes" by Aquilino Iglesia Alvariño is published in Vilagarcía de Arousa (Pontevedra), being considered one of the most important post-war Galician collection of poems. In the present article we will try to analyze the circumstances surrounding the appearance of the aforesaid book. We will also try to clarify how both Severino González Lazán, a humble librarian, and Aquilino Iglesia Alvariño, a private school teacher, could undertake the remarkable task of printing a book of poems on a printing press that was far from adequate. The result was a poetry book made with the utmost care and whose appearance seems to have been less innocent than it is generally thought.
