New testimonies of the cult to Cibeles-Attis in the provincial of Barcelona (Spain)

Abstract

This article aims to analyse a series of pieces related to mysterious and oriental cult located in the area currently Known as Vallès Occidental, in the province of Barcelona (Spain). The aforementioned pieces are related to the worship of the Gods Attis-Cibeles. From their archaeological and iconographic analysis, the problems related to the study of this type of worship will be analysed, as well as the level of establishment of these religions in this area, which hadn’t had evidence up to now.
