Abstract

In this paper we analyze the evolution of the studies of Roman Africa. Our research is conducted from the consideration of various stages, and its relation to political developments in the countries of the Maghreb. In these stages are considered various aspects analyzed by the researchers: the persistence of Punic World, the urban life, the relationship with the indigenous World, the Romanization, the Culture, the role of the Army, etc.
