Abstract

Study of the five Islamic keys conserved in the Museo de Segovia, some of them with Arabic texts, and also about other ones of the same type and date. New readings of their inscriptions are provided and a typological, functional and chronological approach is offered for these Medieval keys having a representative and symbolic character.
