THE VALUE OF SELF-ESTEEM IN EMOTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Throughout a brief exposition of a clinical case, the current article tries to offer an explanation about the significance that a correct development of self-esteem has in emotional relationships. We will also see that how the familiar models and the childhood experiences contribute to build the development of a proving self-esteem, or, in a dysfunctional alternative, narcissist characteristics that tend to complicate social interactions.From the psychotherapeutic, unifying and interdisciplinary model that configures the Dendros therapy, we will help the patient to find an adaptive significance to his own life experiences reaching a good emotional balance.
