The Dominicans Order and popular religiosity in the east of the province of Andalucia

The Dominicans, worried about the culture of their times, in the specific moment that we have analyzed, the tried founding brotherhoods of the Holy Rosary and the Holy Name of Jesus. In that way, they obey the commands from the General Chapters, and they made reality in their priories, for evangelize, what the Order made its own responsibility. In a breeze we have seen more than the friars made in Andalusia, Murcia, La Mancha, Estremadura and the Canary Islands. We have noticed the specific places where the brotherhoods of the Holy Rosary and the Holy Name of Jesus, with the names of the friars that worked in them and the circumstances about the foundations.
