Treatment of social phobia: A case study

In this paper, the treatment of a case of social phonia is presented in detail. The intervention includes the following tratment procedures: exposition, cognitive reestructuring, paradoxical intention and reinforcement.
This programme was carried out in seven sessions. The results show a progressive decrease of the symptoms throughout the treatment and during the follow-ups which took place: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months afterwards.
